The herbs in Triple Leaf Tea's traditional Herbal Laxative Tea help promote regularity and provide gentle, effective overnight relief. They were used to help support the functioning of the digestive system the body's normal process of detoxification. This formula uses senna because of its effective stimulant laxative properties. The other supporting herbs are known for their effect upon digestion, liver function, normal detoxification and balance. For additional support in cleansing, use this tea along with Triple Leaf Detox Tea.

Ingredients:
Senna leaf and stem, licorice root, ginger root, dandelion root, fo-ti (ho shou wu) root, rhubarb root, sickle-pod senna seed and orange flavoring.

Suggested Use:
1 cup before bedtime for morning relief. If needed, take again the next night; do not exceed 3 cups in 24 hours. Children 6 - 12 years old, drink 1/2 cup before bedtime. If needed, take again the next night; do not exceed 1 1/2 cups in 24 hours. Do not drink for more than 7 consecutive days unless directed by your doctor.

Brewing Directions:
Pour 1 cup of boiling water over a tea bag. Let steep 5-10 minutes. Remove the tea bag, squeeze gently into the cup.

For stronger flavor and effect, steep longer. A tea bag can be re-used to extract more herbal benefits. For a delicious change, try it with lemon and honey, or your favorite sweetener.
